Nutrition Counseling

Joya was raised and still currently resides in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho.  She absolutely loves living in the Northwest with the beautiful scenery, lakes, hiking trails, restaurants and shops, and of course the incredible community and values.  

Joya is passionate about nutrition and helping people with their nutritional needs.  She is motivated to lead (by example) and teach the importance of nutrition and how it affects everyone in many ways, physically and mentally.   Her passion is to help people improve body image, diet mindset, and overall lifestyle to help her clients become all they were created to be.  Joya believes eating real food will nourish your body and that food can be used as medicine.  She believes food should be used for fuel, enjoyment, and celebration. 

Joya enjoys working with people to help educate on nutritional needs while creating a healthy balance in life for wellness and longevity.  She loves sharing how nourishing our bodies with real food can create beautiful outcomes. 

Joya received her degree in Nutrition at Purdue University Global. 

Along the way, she also got her certifications at Precision Nutrition and The American Council on Exercise.

Joya is very excited about the opportunity to be part of the Druthers Healthcare team as they share the same values and passion - caring for the health and well-being of each patient, with YOU at the center of care. 

Outside of work, Joya enjoys spending time with her family and friends, boating, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors. 

Joya also loves to cook and create healthy recipes to share with her friends, family, and clients.
